These words are the testimony of John the Baptist. John knew his place. ..Yohana Mbatizaji alitoa ushuhuda huu kuhusu huduma yake.

John the Baptist was chosen by God to prepare the way for the coming of Jesus Christ. ..Yohana alichaguliwa na Mungu kabla ya kuzaliwa kuwa mtangulizi kuandaa njia kwa Yesu Kristo.

Jesus is giving teachings to His disciples so that they will be prepared for His Second coming.

These words of Isaiah are a message of comfort to the Jewish people in exile.....Maneno ya nabii Isaya katika somo la leo, ni faraja aliyetoa Mungu kwa taifa lake wakiwa utumwani.

Alpha and Omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. So in saying this Jesus is saying that He is the beginning and the end and all that is in between...Haya ni maneno ya Yesu Kristo. Maneno yanayoonyesha Utawala wa Yesu Kristo. Alfa na Omega ni herufi ya kwanza na ya mwisho katika alfabeti ya Kigiriki.

Isaiah brings words of encouragement from God to the Jews who are in captivity in Babylon.....Maneno ya Nabii Isaya ni ujumbe wa Mungu kwa Taifa takatifu, watu wa Yuda, wakiwa utumwani Babilon.

In these verses from the Matthew’s Gospel we hear Jesus teaching His disciples. He wants them to understand about His second coming...Katika maneno haya kutoka Injili ya Mathayo Yesu anawafundisha wanafunzi wake. Yesu alitaka waelewe kuhusu ujio wake wa pili kwa utukufu.

Today is the second Sunday in Advent. We are thinking about the Lord coming in Glory and establishing His kingdom.

This is a message from God to the people of Judah through the Prophet Isaiah. God is judging His people because of their sins and rebellion.....Maneno haya ni maonyo ya Mungu kwa watu wa Yuda kupitia Nabii Isaya. Mungu anawonya kwa sababu ya uasi wao.

The Apostle Paul, near the end of his letter to the Christians at Rome, wants to remind them to be prepared..Mtume Paulo, karibu na mwisho wa Waraka wake kwa Warumi, anawakumbusha kutafakari kuhusu mwenendo wao.
